He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 You pay full attention, 6 Whereas it is not on thee that he is not cleansed. 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 and fearfully, 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 exalted, purified, 14 [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels, 15 Noble and pious. 16 Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah; 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 Out of a sperm-drop did He create him and then determined a measure for him, 19 Then the way He made easy. 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then when He pleases, He will raise him to life again. 22 Nay, but (man) hath not done what He commanded him. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 [how it is] that We pour down water, pouring it down abundantly; 25 And We split the earth in clefts, 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 And grapes and green fodder 28 Olives and dates, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 And fruits and herbage 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 his wife and his children. 36 For every one of them on that Day shall be business enough to occupy 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news; 39 And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
