(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 So wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and do not yield to anyone among them who is sinful or ungrateful; 24 And glorify the name of your Lord morning and evening. 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Surely these love the transitory and neglect a grievous day before them. 27 We created them and strengthened their joints; and whenever We wish, We can change their faces entirely. 28 Verily this is an Exhortation; so let him who so will take a way to his Lord. 29 (The virtuous mentioned in this chapter) want only what God wants. God is All-knowing and All-wise. 30 For He admits into His mercy whomsoever He will; as for the evildoers, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement. 31
