The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
