The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
