▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, and by the moon, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those on the right side. 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
