Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
