We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
