We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 A group of his people said to him, "You are absolutely wrong." 60 Said he, 'My people, there is no error in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being.' 61 “Conveying to you the messages of my Lord and wishing good for you, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 But they cried him lies; so We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We drowned those who cried lies to Our signs; assuredly they were a blind people. 64
