The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
