The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
