And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 And We vouchsafed unto them signs wherein was a manifest favour. 33 Verily these! they say: 34 "There is no dying for us but once; and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our ancestors back, if you are truthful." 36 Are they better than the tribe of Tubba (name of a Yemenite tribal chief) and those who lived before them? We destroyed them. They were criminals. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 The day when friend will help no friend in the least, nor will they be helped, 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42
