Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
