Lo! We verily do help Our messengers, and those who believe, in the life of the world and on the day when the witnesses arise, 51 the Day when the excuses offered by the wrong-doers shall not avail them. They shall be victims of the curse and a woeful abode. 52 And, indeed We gave Musa (Moses) the guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture [i.e. the Taurat (Torah)], 53 as their inheritance and as a guide and a reminder to the people of understanding. 54 hence, remain thou patient in adversity - for, verily, God's promise always comes true - and ask forgiveness for thy sins, and extol thy Sustainer's glory and praise by night and by day. 55 Behold, as for those who call God's messages in question without having any evidence therefore in their hearts is nothing but overweening self-conceit, which they will never be able to satisfy: seek thou, then, refuge with God - for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing! 56 Certainly, the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most people do not know this. 57 And the blind and the seeing are not alike, nor those who believe and do good and the evil-doer; little is it that you are mindful. 58 The Hour is coming, no doubt of it, but most men do not believe. 59 But your Sustainer says: "Call unto Me, [and] I shall respond to you! Verily, they who are too proud to worship Me will enter hell, abased!" 60
