Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
