Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
