The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And extended shade, 30 and flowing water, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And exalted thrones. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 So made them as maidens. 36 chastely amorous, 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
