And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
