Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
