Al-Najm 3 of 3
Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 He plunged the villages 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
