Do the disbelievers reckon that they can choose My bondmen as protecting friends beside Me? Lo! We have prepared hell as a welcome for the disbelievers. 102 Say, (O Muhammad): "Shall We tell you who will be the greatest losers in respect of their works? 103 It will be those who labor a great deal in this life but without guidance, yet think that they are doing a great many good deeds. 104 They are those who deny their Lord's signs and the meeting with Him." So their works are in vain, and We shall give them no weight on the Day of Resurrection. 105 Hell is their recompense for disbelieving and their taking My revelations and My Messengers as objects of jest. 106 As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise, 107 "Wherein they shall dwell (forever). No desire will they have to be removed therefrom." 108 SAY: "If all the sea were ink for my Sustainer's words, the sea would indeed be exhausted ere my Sustainer's words are exhausted! And [thus it would be] if we were to add to it sea upon sea." 109 Say: 'I am only a mortal the like of you; it is revealed to me that your God is One God. So let him, who hopes for the encounter with his Lord, work righteousness, and not associate with his Lord's service anyone. 110
