We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
