Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
