Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And remember Ismail in the Book; he was indeed true to his promise and was a Noble Messenger, a Prophet. 54 And he ordered his people to pray and to give charity and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And mention in the Book, Idris; he too was of the truth and a Prophet, 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 Except such as repent and believe and do good, these shall enter the garden, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly in any way: 60 Gardens of Eden that the All-merciful promised His servants in the Unseen; His promise is ever performed. 61 There, they shall hear no idle talk, but only peace. And there they shall be given their provision at dawn and at the evening. 62 That is Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who are godfearing. 63 We never descend except at your Lord's command. What is before us and behind us and all that lies between belong to Him. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him? (of course none is similar or coequal or comparable to Him, and He has none as partner with Him). [There is nothing like unto Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer]. 65
