Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And exalted your fame? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
