The people of Lot cried lies to the Envoys 160 when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 161 I am for you an honest Messenger. 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 "Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamin (mankind), 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you of your wives? Nay, you are a people exceeding limits. 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said: verily I am of those who abhor your work. 168 Lord, save me and my family from their deeds." 169 So We saved him and all his people, 170 Except one old woman, who stayed behind. 171 Then We destroyed the rest of them, 172 And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned. 173 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 175
