The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
