The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 when they were seated around it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
