The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 For what sin she was killed 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29
