We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
