T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). 3 A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens, 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. 7 God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 But when he came close to it, a voice called out: "O Moses! 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 I Myself have chosen you; therefore, give ear to what is revealed. 13 "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 What is that in your right hand, Moses' 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." 24
