Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people, worship God; you have no other god but He. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day," 59 The leading men of his people replied: 'We see that you are in palpable error.' 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 "I convey unto you the Messages of my Lord and give sincere advice to you. And I know from Allah what you know not. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
