۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
