The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven breaks apart. 1 in obedience to the commands of their Lord which are incumbent on them, 2 And when the earth is stretched, 3 and casts out all that is within it and becomes empty; 4 And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; 5 O man, you are striving unto your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 Then, he who is given his Book in his right hand 7 he will in time be called to account with an easy accounting, 8 and he will return to his family joyfully. 9 But as for those whose Book of records will be given behind their backs, 10 shall call for destruction 11 And enter into burning fire. 12 Verily, he was among his people in joy! 13 He verily deemed that he would never return (unto Allah). 14 Yes indeed, his Lord was ever watching him. 15 Nay; I swear by the twilight; 16 and the night and what it envelops 17 and the moon when it grows full, 18 [even thus, O men,] are you bound to move; onward from stage to stage. 19 What then is the matter with them, that they believe not?- 20 When the Quran is read to them, why do they not fall to their knees? ۩ 21 Nay, but they who are bent on denying the truth give the lie [to this divine writ]! 22 And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves. 23 (Muhammad), tell them that they will all suffer a painful torment 24 Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail. 25
Almighty Allah's Truth.
