But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And what you do not see 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
