And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
