The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and amid the extended shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 and abundant fruits, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
