Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 'Ain-Sin-Qaf. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. 2 As such Allah, the Almighty, the Wise reveals to you (Prophet Muhammad) and to those before you. 3 His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; He is the Most High, the All-Great. 4 Well-nigh the heavens might be rent in sunder from above them. And the angels hallow the praise of their lord and ask forgiveness for these on the earth. Lo! Verily Allah! He is the Forgiver, the Merciful! 5 And those who have taken to them protectors apart from Him -- God is Warden over them; thou art not a guardian over them. 6 And thus We have revealed unto thee a Qur'an in Arabic, that thou mayest warn the mother of towns and those around it, and that thou mayest warn them of a Day of Assembling whereof there is no doubt. A party will be in the Garden, and a party in the Blaze. 7 And had Allah willed, He would have made them one community; but He causeth whomsoever He will to enter into His mercy. And the wrong doers! for them there shall be no patron or helper. 8 What! Have they appointed supporters other than Allah? So (know that) Allah only is the Supporter, and He will revive the dead; and He is Able to do all things. 9
