The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22
