Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
