And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
