The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the promised day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
