Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 and those that carry the burden [of heavy clouds,] 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 surely you are deeply at variance [as to what to believe] -- 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23
