When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 He answered: "You will surely not be able to bear with me. 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
