Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
