The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
