And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
