We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
