And recite to them the story of Ibrahim. 69 When he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They said: We worship idols, so we shall be their votaries. 71 'Do they hear you when you call on them' He asked. 72 Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?" 73 They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing so." 74 He said, “Do you see these – (the idols) whom you worship?” 75 you and your fathers, the elders? 76 are my enemies? Not so the Lord of the Universe. 77 who created me, and Himself guides me, 78 It is He who gives me food and drink 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me, 80 Who will make me die, then give me life again, 81 and He who will, I hope, forgive me my faults on the Day of the Judgement. 82 "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 And appoint for me an honourable mention among the posterity 84 and place me among those who shall inherit the garden of bliss! 85 and forgive my father, for he was among the astray. 86 And do not disgrace me on the day when they are raised from the graves, 87 The day when wealth and sons avail not (any man) 88 “Except he who presented himself before Allah, with a sound* heart.” (Intact or unblemished.) 89 When Paradise shall be brought near to the God-fearing 90 "And to those straying in Evil, the Fire will be placed in full view; 91 And it will be said unto them: Where is (all) that ye used to worship 92 beside Allah? Can they be of any help to you, or even be of any help to themselves?" 93 Then they shall be pitched into it, they and the perverse 94 and the hosts of iblis all together. 95 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: 96 By Allah! we were certainly in manifest error, 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Universe. 98 And none led us astray except the culprits. 99 so now we have no intercessors, 100 Nor a close friend (to help us). 101 Would that we could have a chance to live again so that we might become believers." 102 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers! 103 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
