The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
