Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what do you know of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
